Music Orchard is a nonprofit organization in Richmond, VA that provides free private lessons to young musicians. By connecting each student with a volunteer mentor, they not only remove barriers to music education, but also foster growth, character, and citizenship.
  Music Orchard is made possible through cooperation and coordination between the organization's leadership, local schools, parents, and mentors. The website was designed with this in mind–a clean interface that simplified communication between these parties. 
  Seeing the program in action is powerful. Students are given a chance to learn an artform, and mentors have an opportunity to give back to their community and pass on their craft. I attempted to capture this harmony, both musical and personal, on film.
